Environmental Consulting:
Asbestos/Lead-Based Paint Technician
Full-time position
Office hours are Monday-Friday – 8:00am – 5:00pm (other days and hours as business requires)

Responsibilities:
• Technician will be responsible for performing inspections, assessments, testing and analysis of materials which may contain asbestos, lead or mold.
• Lead-based paint inspection, assessment, and testing
• Mold inspection and testing
• Assist with conducting indoor air quality assessments
• Prepare field and project reports
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma with
• Experience in related fields:
(e.g. asbestos, lead, or environmental remediation work, home inspection or building construction )
Requirements:
• Be in good physical health and medically fit to wear respiratory and other personal protective equipment. Able to climb ladders, lift/carry equipment <50 lbs.,
• Valid TN driver’s license with reliable transportation and good driving record.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen, background security check and OSHA physical.
• Willing to travel, work evenings and/or weekends, if necessary. Most work is local or throughout Tennessee. Travel overnight is minimal but does occur depending on project requirements.
• Basic computer skills and familiar with MS Word/Excel.
• Able to communicate effectively with various types of clientele accuracy, dependability, and strong organizational skills are a
must.

Environmental Consulting Manager

DESCRIPTION
The right candidate will direct, manage, and lead the companies EH&S and laboratory divisions. Experience with asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, and indoor air quality is required. Must have organizational, leadership, management, and communication skills. Dependability, efficiency, integrity, professionalism and a “can do” attitude is essential in this position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The position includes but is not limited to the following:
Provides, directs, and administers EH&S consulting and laboratory services
Prepares proposals, agreements, and contracts
Manages, directs, assists, and mentors technical staff
Manages and assists with current projects including staffing, and invoicing
Client management and new business development
Assists in establishing goals and objectives of policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BS degree in environmental or safety related field preferred or
5 years of relevant experience
Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and profit motivated.
Strong communication skills.
Leadership, client, and time management skills.
Ability to work as part of a team to meet project objectives and company goals
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history
